Croatia still remains as one of my favourite countries ever. I may be bias because of the romanticised trip I had there, and the beautiful people I met, but still. Hvar's crystal clear water was some of the unreal water I'd ever seen. Boat days, fresh Mediterranean food, fresh figs, and sunshine, a girl couldn't ask for more. Bonus, it's not even that expensive. Don't even get me started on Dubrovnik and its old town, straight out of a movie (no literally). As per 20 year old me writing in my journal after my first visit - “Plaza Malo Zarace [in hvar] was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.”
